A Great Big Howdy to Everyone!
I’ve been thinking about this gig for many years and it’s time to stop thinking and begin doing. We are planning a reunion concert at the Sellersville Theater on Sunday evening October 5, 2008 nearly 30 years since I left Philadelphia. Other events may materialize over the weekend if there is sufficient interest.
The Wheel Pump Inn is gone, and the Bryn Mawr Beef & Ale is also history, but for those of you who remember some of those noisy nights and loud music, this concert will be a treat. We loved playing the music and it was obvious to us that many of you came back night after night to help us make it through the night.
It was a magical time in my life, and I look forward to seeing everyone who was a part of the Skookil Express experience. We will play some music, share some stories, and catch up with old friends. If you can make it, we would love to have you and if you can’t make it, please share some of your memories with the band and other fans.
